Before the industrial age, interiors were fashioned from natural materials that were congruent with good health.
Post machine age, we are offered petroleum based, chemical off-gassing products, which are toxic to our environment.
Indoor air is often poisonous to the humans who inhabit the space. There is a serious lack of air quality and nature in homes, offices and institutions and this has an ill effect on health. Some humans are suffering various ailments due to contaminated interiors and do not understand the origin of their problems. Others know the effects and have environmental illness and allergies.
Now there are options available for a healthy interior, from the baby's room to the office you work in most of the day, organic paint, wood finishes, furniture, lighting and even flooring can be used providing a healthy organic atmosphere. Reusing and recycling are both a huge part of organic living.
