Psychological studies have much information to impart regarding how colours make us feel. For the last hundred years or so, we have been shying away from colour in our environments though, and keeping things simple. This often means homes bereft of any real colour, all decorated in shades of neutrals.
Although these homes are not spiritually bereft, they do not satisfy the needs we as humans have for colour in our lives. In Prana healing, colour and chakras has long been studied, eons before modern psychology put faces on colours.
Light energy healing, using vibrations set off by colours has also long been known to man, but is not well put into action in western society.
